THANKSGIVING OFFERING RECEIVED AGAIN THIS WEEKEND
The Thanksgiving Special Offering will be received this weekend, November 
23, 2003. Your gift will support leader development through colleges, 
universities and theological institutions related to the Christian Church 
(Disciples of Christ).	Thank you for your generosity.

NAPAD APPOINTS THREE ASIAN STAFF
The North American Asian Ministries team looks forward to continued growth 
as the they announce the appointment of three new members: The Rev. Lian 
Jiang, director of Chinese Ministries; the Rev. Dan Calderon, director of 
Filipino Ministries; and the Rev. Kim Tran, director of Vietnamese 
Ministries. Each will serve on a 1/3-time basis. To learn more, visit:

CCF ESTABLISHES JOHNSON STEWARDSHIP AWARD
The Christian Church Foundation Board of Directors established the James P. 
Johnson Stewardship Award in honor of retired president James P. Johnson 
and to encourage congregational stewardship and planned giving. The award's 
first recipient is its namesake and was presented to Johnson during the 
Foundation Board's recent meeting in Indianapolis. Future awards will be 
presented to congregations at the Foundation's General Assembly dinner.

DISCIPLES DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE APPROACHES
"Understanding Today's Donors" is the theme for the 2004 Disciples 
Development Conference, Jan. 17-18, 2004, in Corpus Christi, Texas. This 
event is for development officers of institutions and entities affiliated 
with the Christian Church, as well as regional ministers and others with an 
interest in stewardship and fund-raising within the church. More
