A holiday note to our readers:

	The Presbyterian News Service has worked hard all year reporting the
news of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and now our hearts join yours in
turning to this holiday season, and to our families and homes and communities
of faith.

	The Presbyterian News Service is essentially shutting down from
Monday, Dec. 22, to Monday, Jan. 5. For those two weeks, the office will be
closed. However, we will be ready to respond to any major breaking news of
importance to Presbyterians.

	Thanks for being loyal readers. We hope you enjoy the blessings of
the holiday season.
