COLLEGE OF REGIONAL MINISTERS PASS PROCLAMATION
At a recent meeting of the College of Regional Ministers of the Christian 
Church (Disciples of Christ), a resolution was unanimously passed rejoicing 
in the call of William Chris Hobgood to serve as the sixth general minister

ATTEND THE 30th ANNIVERSARY BLACK MINISTERS' RETREAT
Disciples Home Missions invites you to the 30th Anniversary of the Black 
Ministers Retreat, March 1-4, 2004 at the Christian Church Conference 
Center in Silver Springs, Fla. The Rev. Danny Thompson, vice president, 
Office of Christian Vocation, will lead the retreat where you will worship,

ART & SUSAN HANNA ENDOWMENT FUND REACHES GOAL
In recognition of Arthur A. Hanna's 30-year ministry with the Pension Fund, 
Disciples created an endowment fund to subsidize health care premiums for 
our neediest retirees, seminary students, new congregation pastors and 
pastors in extremely small congregations. The Pension Fund announces with 
great celebration that the goal of raising $100,000.00 has been reached and

LES GALBRAITH NAMED INTERIM DIRECTOR OF MEN'S MINISTRIES
Disciples Home Missions has named Les Galbraith Interim Director of Men's 
Ministries. An ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of 
Christ), Galbraith retired from the Christian Church in Indiana, Jan. 1, 
2004. He began his assignment with DHM on Jan. 14. For more information, go

LEXINGTON SEMINARY AND NEWMAN FOUNDATION PRESENT NEW TESTAMENT SCHOLAR
Lexington Theological Seminary and Newman Foundation Inc., University of 
Kentucky, are hosting four lectures by noted Biblical scholar, Dr. Luke 
Timothy Johnson. At the seminary he will be the guest lecturer for the 
William Daniel Cobb Lectures and at the Newman Center, he will present an
