	Delegates affirm Mission 21st Century response to Great
Commission

	Delegates yesterday (July 11) voted to affirm a resolution to
expand Lutheran ChurchMissouri Synod mission efforts worldwide by
endorsing a number of recommendations from the Mission 21st Century Task
Force. That task force was appointed in 2002 to address ways to reverse

	Convention sets separate boards for colleges, seminaries

	With little debate, delegates to the 62nd Regular Convention of
The Lutheran ChurchMissouri Synod on July 11 established separate
governing boards for the Synods 10 colleges and universities and for

	Vessey urges support of For the Sake of the Church

	The chairman of the For the Sake of the Church cabinet called
on congregations to support the effort to double the number of LCMS
