American Baptist News Service (Valley Forge, Pa. 6/15/05)--Diane M.
Vescovi joined National Ministries as a staff writer on June 6.

Vescovi will help tell the stories of National Ministries' work in the
third largest mission field in the world, the United States and Puerto
Rico, through electronic and print media.

She brings to the position varied ministry, industry and nonprofit
experiences, including authoring articles for a seminary magazine and a
Bible institute newsletter, and producing a newsletter-with
responsibility for both writing and editing-for overseas educators. Most
recently she edited grant proposals for humanitarian aid to Third World
countries for Geneva Global in Wayne, Pa.

Along with a master's degree in theological studies from Palmer
(formerly Eastern Baptist) Theological Seminary, where she concentrated
in contemporary issues in theology, Vescovi holds a bachelor's degree in
economics from the University of Maryland.

"Diane Vescovi's unique mix of editorial experience and theological
training brings a perspective specially suited to telling the National
Ministries story," said Susan Gottshall, associate executive director
for communications. "But Diane also brings an enthusiasm for ministry
that contributes to our communications efforts in ways bound to reach
far beyond editorial production."
