TEMPE, AZ -- The Rev. Larry Norris, acting vice president of Cook College and
Theological School, has been named president. He succeeds the Rev. Howard
Rice, who had served as interim president for two years. In more than 20
years at Cook, Norris has served in various capacities, including
chaplain/counselor, academic dean and member of the theology faculty.

MARYVILLE, TN -- The Rev. Anne D. McKee, campus minister at Maryville
College, was elected president of the Presbyterian College Chaplains
Association (PCCA) during the association's recent annual meeting at Trinity
University in San Antonio, TX. McKee will serve as liaison on issues
pertaining to college chaplaincy. Her term lasts two years.

HASTINGS, NE -- Hastings College President Phillip Dudley will receive the
prestigious Ralph S. Brown Award for Shared Governance, a national honor
conferred by the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). The
Hastings chapter of AAUP and faculty senate nominated Dudley for creating an
environment of trust, collegiality and mutual respect on campus.

DECATUR, GA -- Cathy Scott, a political science professor at Agnes Scott
College, has been selected for summer study in a program supported by the
National Endowment for the Humanities. She will participate in an institute
entitled "Rethinking America in Global Perspective" from June 20 to July 15.

DANVILLE, KY -- Centre College can claim to be a winner on two continents:
The Centre football team concluded its spring season with a 21-6 exhibition
win over the Great Britain Lions on May 28 at the Crystal Palace National
Sports Centre in London, England.
