In his message sent to His Majesty, King Abdallah of Jordan and to the
Jordanian Government, Mr. Saleh strongly condemns and denounces the "brutal
acts of terror against the hotels in Amman on November 9, causing the death
of so many innocent victims and injuring many more". These acts "contradict
humane ethical principles and are incompatible with the values of religion,
and especially of the magnanimity of Islam" says MECC General Secretary who
conveys heartfelt condolences on MECC Presidents', MECC Executive
Committee's and his behalf.
On this occasion the MECC has received condolence messages from several
churches, church related organizations, partners and friends extending
deepest sympathies to all who lost loved ones in this tragedy.
The MECC thanks all those who have conveyed messages of support to the
people of the Middle East.
