PC(USA) annual report is released

LOUISVILLE * The 2005 annual report of the six national agencies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has been released, just in time for the 217th General Assembly of the 2.3 million-member denomination.
The 36-page report takes its name * "So Great a Cloud of Witnesses" * from the Assembly's theme. The Assembly meets June 15-22 in Birmingham, AL.
The report includes stories and pictures of Presbyterian mission around the world through the activities of the six agencies * the General Assembly Council, the Office of the General Assembly, the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation, the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program, Inc. and the Board of Pensions.
According to associate of internal communication Mindy Marchal, one copy of the report will be sent to each congregation, synod and presbytery, as well as to General Assembly commissioners and advisory delegates and governing body resource centers around the country. Each agency will distribute the report to its employees, elected members and other constituents.
Additional copies are available by calling Presbyterian Distribution Service at 800-524-2612 and asking for PDS product #68200-06-001. It's free.
The annual report will also be available online (but not in PDF downloadable format) beginning July 1 at www.pcusa.org/annual (http://www.pcusa.org/annual).
