Living Communion Report from ACC-13 Published Today

The Official Report of the Anglican Consultative Council XIII,(ACC) held in Nottingham, UK, last June is now available in an attractive and comprehensive volume.

Includes Special Reports on Human Sexuality from Canada and USA; Archbishop's Bible Studies in full; Sermons and Addresses, Resolutions.

Compiled by Canon James Rosenthal of the Anglican Communion Office of Communications and Susan Erdey from Church Publishing, the 740 page book proves to be more than a reference book, as it tells the stories of those present from around the globe and includes the timely Bible Studies in full given by the Most Revd Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury on the book of the Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament.

The attractive blue book is entitled Living Communion, the theme of the meeting. Provincial lists and the complete texts of the ACC resolutions are included as are a goodly number of photos and the winning Compass Rose children's drawing is on the back cover, from the Diocese of West Malaysia.

The reports of the special sessions on sexuality by TEC (The Episcopal Church) and Canada are presented in print.

Secretary General of the Anglican Communion, the Revd Canon Dr Kenneth Kearon, said of the book and the meeting its reports, "ACC 13 affirmed for me the reality that the people of the Anglican Communion long for reconciliation both within and outside the family, so that the gospel may be proclaimed with clarity and purpose in our troubled world."
