From Columbus: Prior elected as Deputies' vice president

[ENS] The Rev. Brian Prior of the Diocese of Spokane was elected vice president of the House of Deputies on the third ballot June 17.
Prior is a member of Executive Council, where he serves on the Executive Committee and National Concerns Committee. He is the council liaison to the Standing Committee on Ministry Development and is a member of the Council of Advice to the President of the House of Deputies.
He is also the chair of the Legislative Committee on Communications at this convention.
He will serve with Bonnie Anderson, the current vice president of the House of Deputies, a lay deputy from the Diocese of Michigan. She was elected unanimously June 14 as the president of the Deputies. According to the canons, the vice president must be a member of the clergy when the president is a lay deputy.
