CONGRESS PROGRAM GUIDE, SCHEDULE AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM NOW AVAILABLE ON CONGRESS WEB SITE
New York, NY ? In preparation for the 38th Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, July 16-21, the Congress Program Guide, Official Program of Events and the schedule of the educational program are now available on the Congress web site at www.clergylaity.org. The Congress Program Guide, which includes schedules, hotel and convention center maps, and general information on the Congress, is an electronic version of the Program Guide that will be distributed to all registered participants at the Congress.
The Clergy-Laity Congress will be held at the The Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Over 2000 delegates and participants from throughout the United States are expected to attend the six-day event, which also includes the National Philoptochos Convention, and meetings of the Retired Clergy Association, the Order of St. Andrew, the National Sisterhood of Presvyteres, the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council, and the National Forum of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians. Preceding the Congress will be the National Young Adult Conference.
The Congress schedule of events includes the pre-Congress and Young Adult (YAL) Conference schedule, as well as the hour-by-hour events for each day of the Congress. Also included, are various meetings and workshops being conducted by the organizations listed above.
The educational program schedule is available on the web site in two formats. First, viewers can search the web version of the schedule by day or topic. Second, both a full workshop schedule and a topical listing of sessions are available as pdf files that can be downloaded and printed. The program includes over 70 workshops on a variety of ministry topics and areas.
