At the All Saints Episcopal Church in Cairo and on the 15th of April, His Grace Bishop Mounir Hanna was consecrated as the Head of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East region. Representatives of the President, the churches, the Grand Mufti of Egypt and many other eminent persons attended the ceremony. Mr Guirgis Saleh, the General Secretary and on behalf of MECC Presidents and Executive Committee members addressed the new Bishop with words of congratulations.
