Duke of Edinburgh joins Archbishop of Canterbury at St Luke's hospital for the Clergy Centenary Service at St Paul's
HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Bishop of London, joined the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral this morning (October 18) for a service to mark the Centenary of St Luke's Hospital for the Clergy.
Based in Fitzroy Square, St Luke's is a hospital providing free treatment for Anglican clergy and their dependent families, and certain others involved in ministry. Totally modernised in 1994, the hospital is one of London's most up-to-date acute hospitals. Through its 220 Honorary Consultants, all of whom give their services without charge, the Hospital is able to offer treatment over a wide range of conditions and at a number of associated hospitals throughout the UK.
