REF: Invitation to attend a Press Conference on Somalia
We, the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), Fellowship of Christian Councils in the Horn of Africa (FECCLAHA) and Africa Council of Religious Leaders (ACRL), invite you to attend a press conference at Serena Hotel, Nairobi at 3:00 pm tomorrow 20th October, that will be addressed by a group of Muslim Leaders who have been to Somalia on a fact finding mission.
Their visit to Somalia was a follow-up to a meeting in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania in February this year that was convened by the Christian/Muslim leaders in the Horn of Africa. The conflict in Somalia is of great concern and the Christians and Muslims are working together to find solution to the stalemate. The high ranking delegation that has been to Somalia from 17th to 19th October will brief the media on what their mission to Somalia discovered.
