by Melissa Ramirez Cooper, ELCA News Service

St. James Lutheran Church in Forreston, Ill., will be featured in an hour-long television Christmas feature of AgriBusiness Today, a nationally syndicated program. St. James, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), "was chosen as a rural congregation that represents the ever-changing face of rural America and for its contributions to the communities it serves," according to Amy Current, director of public communications, Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, Iowa. Wartburg is one of eight seminaries of the ELCA.

The television feature will include interviews with the Rev. Karen A. Chapel, pastor of St. James, and Beth Nelson Chase, St. James' director of music and Wartburg's vice president for mission support. It will also feature the music of the church's youth and senior choirs and bell choir.

DirectTV and Dish Network will broadcast the feature on Dec. 22 at 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Dec. 23 at 7:00 p.m., and Dec. 24 at 8:00 a.m., CST.
