LCMS products, services make news headlines
Both a brand new program and a long-standing product of the LCMS recently garnered national news coverage.
Operation Barnabas
Operation Barnabas, a new program administered by LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces introduced this fall, will serve LCMS military chaplains and all LCMS Reserve and National Guard veterans before and after they are deployed to active duty. Among others, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the daily newspaper serving the St. Louis metropolitan area, covered the program in detail. Arch Books
Arch Books, a series of more than 100 children's Bible story books published by Concordia Publishing House that debuted in 1959, explain Bible stories in language that children understand. An in-depth article in USA Today, the nation's largest newspaper, about children's books featured the Arch Books series and quoted CPH's publisher.
