VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 02/07/08) - Carolyn Erwin-Johnson has joined National Ministries as a communications associate.
In this position, she will help to tell the story of National Ministries' good works to American Baptist churches and regions as a writer and editor working on print and Web communications. Erwin-Johnson will hold primary responsibility for the newsletter, Mission in America.
A former Ford Fellow in public affairs reporting at the Washington Journalism Center in Washington, D.C., Erwin-Johnson's extensive experience includes writing news and feature articles for national publications as well as writing and editing a church newsletter and developing media strategies to advance specific messages.
Most recently she worked as a writer-editor with the Applied Communications Group and as an information specialist with MACRO International, both in Silver Spring, Md.
Erwin-Johnson holds a master's degree in organizational communication from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and a bachelor of arts degree in English literature from Washington College in Chestertown, Md.
