On July 11, 2008, the Syrian Orthodox community in Beirut celebrated the
enthronement of H.E. Mar Kklimos Daniel Korieh Metropolitan of Beirut.  The
MECC congratulates His Eminence and the Syrian Orthodox community in Beirut.
H.E. is an Executive Committee Member of the MECC and had occupied many
positions at the Council before.
