Our readers who live in or will be traveling to the LCMS International
Center's hometown this Christmas may want to check out the National
Lutheran Choir's first-ever St. Louis performance of its Christmas
Festival.  The Christmas Festival will be held at Christ Church
Cathedral, 1210 Locust Street, St. Louis, Mo., Saturday, Dec. 20, at
7:30 p.m. 

This is not your typical Christmas concert.  Choir members will move
throughout the concert, singing from all corners of the cathedral.  This
22-year tradition provides a memorable holiday experience for the whole
family. The theme for this year's Christmas Festival is "Love
Incarnate," and will feature music by a number of composers, poetry,
Scripture, and audience-participation carols.

Founded in 1986 by Dr. Larry Fleming, the National Lutheran Choir is a
pan-Lutheran choir based in Minneapolis that specializes in the Lutheran
heritage of choral music.  The 60-member choir is directed by Dr. David
Cherwien.

This event is sponsored by Synod-owned radio stations KFUO-AM 850 and
KFUO-FM/CLASSIC99, Concordia Publishing House, Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans, and individual supporters in the St. Louis area.
