VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 6/16/09)-The Office of the General Secretary,
ABCUSA, today announced the elimination of the position of Director of
Women in Ministry effective June 30, 2009, a regretful decision that
became necessary due to the current economic situation. The restricted
endowment funds that support the position have declined in recent years,
to the point that they are no longer sufficient to fund the position as
it is currently configured.
