Michael Hoffman to lead Beyond Viral Video and Social Media With a
Strategy at RCCongress 2010

Strategies for nonprofits to reach people online will be the focus of
two workshops to be led by Michael Hoffman, CEO of See3
Communications, at the Religion Communication Congress in Chicago,
April 7-10, 2010.

In "Beyond Viral Video" participants will learn that organizations
using online video effectively aren't just creating great content,
they're creating great strategies. It all starts with understanding
why video matters to your organization and rethinking what "viral"
really means. Examples of how religious organizations are using video
to extend their programs and events online, increase brand
recognition, and create valuable content for its supporters will be
shown and discussed.

In "Social Media With a Strategy" Hoffman will cover the fundamentals
of social media, what the major tools are, and how they affect your
organizational approach to engagement. Using real life case studies
and best practices, he'll demonstrate how your organization can equip
its members to become brand ambassadors online, how your staff can
share news and events using compelling new media, and how you can turn
your education and advocacy campaigns into online movements.

Michael Hoffman is an expert in online business development and
marketing and is frequently asked to consult with organizations about
marketing strategies and new media development. See3 Communications is
a Chicago-based company specializing in video, web development, and
interactive marketing for nonprofits, associations and social causes.
Hoffman's See3 Communications blog was named a must-read by "The
NonProfit Times" and he is frequently quoted in trade journals,
industry blogs and the mainstream press.
