Chang Jung Senior High School, Taiwan’s first high school and an organization
affiliated with

PCT, recently celebrated another milestone when it installed a new principal
on February 26.

Incoming Principal Wang Chao-ching took over all duties from outgoing
Principal Tsai Chung-

hsiung during a formal thanksgiving service attended by many students, staff,
PCT pastors,

>and guests.

The new president spoke about his vision for the school during the ceremony.
He mentioned

foresight, innovation, and efficiency as the main goals of his administration
and said he hoped

staff and students would work together toward creating a united and happy
school. Wang is

>also an alumnus of Chang Jung.

President Wang said he wanted to strive toward administrative efficiency and
increasing the

rate of successful college applicants within Chang Jung’s student body. But he
also believed

the ultimate mission of the school was to educate teens into becoming
“god-fearing and

>people-loving” adults.

PCT General Assembly Moderator Leonard Lin gave the message during the service
and

spoke on “Continuing Forward”. Rev. Lin also presided over the swearing-in
ceremony.

Incoming Principal Wang will be the school’s 9th principal.

When outgoing Principal Tsai gave his speech, he reflected on the forty years
he had served

at Chang Jung and thanked everyone for their support over the years. He also
lauded Chang

Jung for being a prestigious high school known for its Christian heritage, a
school with good

financial standing, and a school with a solid academic system.
