Sinlau Hospital offers free check-ups to pastors during General  Assembly

As part of its efforts to boost every pastor’s health,  Sin-Lau Hospital, a 
hospital

affiliated with the PCT, gave free health check-ups to all pastors  attending 
the 55th

PCT General Assembly Meeting. A booth was set up inside Chang Jung  Girls’

Senior High School, the venue for this year’s General  Assembly Meeting, on 
April

>7, on the second day of the meeting.

Sin-Lau Hospital staff offered free blood tests to pastors to help  them assess 
their

health. The blood test included liver function index, an item that  is 
increasingly

>attracting people’s attention.

As most blood tests require that individuals take the test on an  empty 
stomach, Sin-

Lau Hospital prepared breakfast ahead of time so that pastors  could enjoy

breakfast soon after completing their health check-ups.

The hospital also gave a free business bag to every pastor  attending the 
General

Assembly Meeting. The bag was designed by Sin-Lao Hospital’s  superintendent’s

wife and bore the initials “PCT”. It was a waterproof  bag that came with a 
manual

listing minutes and discussion items for this year’s General  Assembly Meeting.
