Chiayi church shares gospel through drama at a local park

How do you help teenagers think seriously about their faith and live out what
they believe?
Chiayi Presbytery’s You-Ai Church is going about it by getting its teens
involved in a drama
this summer when many of them are home for summer vacation.
The presentation took place on July 17, 2010, at Shing-Chia Park in Chiayi and
involved
dance performances, energetic praise music, and a short drama.
The purpose of the presentation was to attract local residents and their
children strolling at the
>park on a leisurely Saturday afternoon.
Youths on the stage went all out during their performances as church elders
and the church’s
pastor, Rev. Chen Tian-chang, greeted residents who stopped by to listen.
For this outreach project, youth had also written several testimonies in
advance and bound
them together into a small booklet to hand to anyone who passed by or stopped,
sat down,
>and listened to the concert.
