Louis Barbarin Assumes New Role as Deputy Executive Director;

Board of Managers Elects Matthew Hoffman Corporate Secretary

NEW YORK, NY, November 8, 2010 - The Ministers and Missionaries 
Benefit Board ("MMBB")
announces the promotion of two key staff members. Effective today, 
Louis P. Barbarin
assumes the role of Deputy Executive Director, along with his current 
responsibilities
as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. In a separate action, the 
MMBB Board of
Managers also elected Matthew D. Hoffman, Director of Consultative 
Services, as 
Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Barbarin joined the MMBB staff in 1998 as CFO and shortly 
thereafter was elected
treasurer by the Board of Managers. He previously served as the 
deputy executive
 director and treasurer of Educational Ministries, ABCUSA. Mr. 
Barbarin holds a 
B.S. and a Masters in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and 
is a Certified
Public Accountant.
Mr. Hoffman has been at MMBB since 2000. He previously worked in 
wealth management
at Merrill Lynch and Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Hoffman is a graduate 
of Nyack College
and holds a Masters in Finance from Boston University. He is a 
Certified Financial
Planner(TM) and Chartered Financial Consultant.

that is central to everything we do," noted Sumner M. Grant, MMBB's 
executive director.
"Each has a tremendous passion for providing world-class service to 
our members,
