The General Conference, which is the top international legislative body of The United Methodist Church, will be held April 24-May 4 in Tampa, Fla. The prayer-chain commitment came out of an unprecedented prayer summit held last month at the Stephen Trowen Nagbe United Methodist Church in Monrovia. Delegates from more than two dozen annual conferences were at the meeting.
