CHICAGO (ELCA) -- Plans are under way for two higher education
institutions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) to
merge. Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Columbia, S.C., will unite
with Lenoir-Rhyne University, Hickory, N.C.
