Now, she is armed with a new insecticide-treated bed net hung by United Methodist volunteers who arrived at her home less than 10 hours after she delivered her seventh child. Kamara’s plight of losing her children to malaria may have ended. Begun as a pilot project in 2008, the e-Academy is a cooperative effort among the theological education programs and seminaries in Europe. It also offers a summary of the work done in the past year on behalf of the Call to Action effort to reorder the church. (UMNS) — For opening its doors to its Muslim neighbors, Aldersgate United Methodist Church was featured on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central on May 5. The comedy show’s John Oliver interviewed the Rev.
