From the Province of South East Asia
We are pleased to inform that in the Extra-ordinary Provincial Synod Meeting and Standing Committee Meeting that was held on 21 - 23 September 2011 at the Palace Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Bishop Bolly Lapok (Diocese of Kuching) was elected as the 4th Archbishop of the Province of South East Asia.
Please continue to pray for Archbishop Elect Bolly Lapok and the Province. The Installation service will be on 12 February 2012, in Kuching, Sarawak.
Archbishops of South East Asia:
1996 - 2000 Incumbent: Moses Tay Also the Bishop of Singapore 1982-1999
2000 - 2006 Incumbent: Datuk Yong Ping Chung Also Bishop of Sabah since 1990.
2006 - 2012 Incumbent: John Chew Also Bishop of Singapore since 2000.
2011 (Elected) 2012 (Enthronement) Incumbent: Datuk Bolly Lapok Also Bishop of Kuching since 2007
