Taiwan Church News 3055 Edition September 13~19, 2010 Taipei churches embrace spiritual revival and ecumenism Reported by Chiou Kuo-rong Written by Lydia Ma The fourth annual inter-denominational “Spread Love Movement” was held on September 12, 2010, at Cheng-Kung High School in Taipei. This prayer meeting based on the theme “Welcoming and Preparing for Revival” attracted members from PCT, Lutheran Church, Evangelical Formosa Church, and other church denominations. The service also included inspiring trumpet and percussion duets. According to the keynote speaker, Rev. Wei Ti-hsiang from Dandelion Hope Foundation, churches shouldn’t “wait” for revival, but rather, “welcome” and embrace it because Taiwan is reaching a turning point. He urged Christians to ride on the wave of this spiritual revival that’s making its way across the country. Next year’s host for this prayer movement will be Chi-Nan Presbyterian Church in Taipei. ******************** Taiwan Church News is published weekly in Taiwan's local languages.
