WASHINGTON (ELCA) -- The Rev. Mark S. Hanson, presiding bishop of
the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), joined 27 other
religious leaders Sept. 29 in issuing a public statement supporting "a
new hope for the peace of Jerusalem."
